THIS GUY

Mr. President Barack Hussein Obama

So I don't have very strong views on politics, as I wish I did, but some slight opinions, sure.
I think it's awesome to be alive during the inauguration of America's first black president. I think it's especially cool that his inauguration was the day after Martin Luther King day.

I'd like to contemplate on my thoughts regarding his skills when it comes to speaking.
No matter your opinion on him, or his views, you know he's an amazing speaker. You know he out-spoke the majority, if not all, of the other candidates, and yes, that's a big part of winning. Even if it shouldn't be, it definitely is, and he took that to his advantage.

He knows American mob mentality has an IQ of like -2. Why play on that if you can lift the people up and give them something real to work with besides this whole celebrity endorsed slogan of "Yes, we can" and "We will Change?"

Many people have this same view, no matter how harsh, correct, or incorrect it may be, and that's how it will always be in our country. I'm sure many of you agree with this statement. I's something I like to think about, and it makes me think about human nature and how crazy it is that people's opinions can be, but that's not the point. A point I would like to make from this is that yeah, he has flaws. Who doesn't? There's no such thing as a 'perfect candidate.' Do you think he's perfect? Some people do. However, some people believe him to be the worst candidate ever. And both views relate to John McCain just the same, as well as every other candidate.

However, I've watched bits and pieces of debates, and caught about ten minutes of his inauguration speech before school this morning, and he is indeed amazing at speaking. Props to him on that.

He's an inspiration to me, as I see the whole "you can do anything" thing is true when not taken too literally.
Congrats, Obama.
